Job summary

Aesse Investments in Aurora, OH is seeking a Process Engineer to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability of production processes and equipment through engineering principles. You will guide trials, upgrades, and installations with careful planning and documentation.

Responsibilities include collaborating with manufacturing, R&D, sales and maintenance teams to implement process improvements, support plant projects, and address safety and reliability challenges while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Polymer or Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years experience preferred.
• Desirable experience includes technology of plastics compounding/extruding, CAD, Word/Excel skills, and knowledge of safety and environmental laws.

Responsibilities

• Work with manufacturing departments to improve current production processes, including productivity, setup time, efficiency, and scrap reduction.
• Assist in providing technical support for changes to the production process.
• Coordinate with subsidiary departments to implement process improvements and new procedures.
• Assist with launches of new or modified production projects.
• Specify new equipment and upgrades with maintenance and vendors.
• Assess processability of new products through production scale trials.
• Commission new lines and equipment.
• Work with related departments to implement work instructions and routines.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve safety, reliability, and efficiency challenges.
