At Danone, manufacturing the best products and meeting demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are looking to hire future Process Engineers at various plant locations throughout the country in 2025. These positions are not currently open but may open in the future. Position Description

The Process Engineer is responsible for equipment improvement, standardization, technical training, and problem solving. The role focuses on eliminating process losses, driving standards, and supporting problem resolution.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Serve as backup to the Line Leader and lead Daily Direction Setting (DDS) when needed.
  • Identify, prioritize, and eliminate process losses; lead discussions on losses and monthly plans.
  • Provide feedback on design initiatives and lead standardization efforts.
  • Define equipment standards and oversee change management and validation processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and process benchmarking activities.
  • Collaborate with line teams to develop and implement standards.
  • Design and maintain data collection systems for process analysis.
  • Prioritize and implement process improvements to reduce losses.
  • Participate in daily management systems and report on results.
  • Use reliability tools to optimize processes and standardize equipment.
  • Manage change control systems and update procedures as needed.
  • Share learnings across processes and train on process/equipment changes.
  • Spend 60-80% of time on the plant floor.
  • Become a technical expert for designated processes and train team members.
  • Support safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

About You

Qualifications:

  • 4-year engineering degree required.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, manual handling of objects up to 50 lbs, working in noisy, humid, and sometimes extreme conditions, and working long shifts.
