Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Project/Process Engineer in Industrial Water/Wastewater. This role is vital in a fast-growing business unit, supporting design and production planning of industrial water/wastewater projects. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:
  • Fulfilling engineering duties for the design, permitting, and construction administration of industrial water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Preparing accurate presentations, process evaluations, designs, details, and construction documents.
  • Understanding treatment process modeling and hydraulics.
  • Overseeing project design teams, including engineers, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines, project engineers, and managers.
  • Researching and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Preparing specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and supporting construction administration.
  • Traveling periodically for business development and project management, including report and exhibit preparation.
  • Assisting with document and construction plan compilation and submission.
  • Implementing project quality control measures.
  • Reporting weekly to management on project performance regarding quality, schedule, and budget.
WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design and permitting of industrial water/wastewater treatment projects.
  • EIT certification.
  • B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering from an accredited program.
  • Strong design, problem-solving, and regulatory experience; excellent management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, background check, and drug test.
