Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize medical waste treatment systems across our facilities in North America. You will own process improvements for autoclaves, boilers, conveyors, and supporting equipment while collaborating with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.

The role is hybrid, requiring on-site work and about 25% travel to plants. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years in process engineering or industrial automation, with PLC/HMI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in process engineering, industrial automation, or control system integration.
• Experience with autoclaves, pressure vessels, or steam boiler systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming.
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems, IIoT technology, and industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC).
• Strong understanding of tooling/fixture design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
• Ability to travel 25% and work on site 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize medical waste treatment processes and equipment across facilities.
• Analyze process performance to identify bottlenecks and downtime drivers.
• Design and optimize facility layouts to enhance material flow.
• Support equipment startups, commissioning, and post-installation optimization.
• Develop and standardize process control strategies, SOPs, and data structures.
