Job summary

Confidential Company in Toledo, OH seeks a Process Engineer II to lead operations at our facility. You will develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, working with automation, engineering and safety to execute change management and uphold quality standards.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage QC labs, perform risk assessments (HAZOP), apply mass, momentum and heat transfer principles, and drive process improvements to meet supply needs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• 5-7+ years engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing facility; recent grads considered.
• Knowledge of DeltaV process control systems (Emerson).
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel across the facility.
• Knowledge of process simulation software.
• HAZOP Facilitation and PSM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve plant efficiency and output to meet supply requirements.
• Provide technical advice on plant operations and improvements.
• Ensure quality of raw materials and finished products; support QC labs and QA.
• Lead engineering analyses including design, costs and equipment selection.
• Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP) for health and safety.
• Manage the site QC Lab and QA analysts; lead CAPA and RCA efforts.
• Facilitate process mapping, FMEA sessions and Gage R&R with operations.
