Akina, Inc. in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, seeks a Process Engineer 2 to lead process improvement initiatives with enterprise-wide impact. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, extensive PI experience, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Location is Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will document processes, facilitate cross-team activities, and coordinate transfer of new processes while ensuring alignment with enterprise engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years' experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Five (5) years’ experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or education from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs process evaluations and documents existing and proposed processes.
• Supports onboarding standardization, requirements process-front door activities, tracking, and related documentation.
• Applies process improvement (PI), engineering methodologies, and principles to improve and align Enterprise-level processes.
• Facilitates project teams in accomplishing project activities and objectives.
• Coordinates the transfer of new processes and practices to project teams through group facilitation, interviewing, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Acts as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure Enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts.
