Job summary

CommScope is seeking a Process Engineer II to join the Engineering Team in Claremont, North Carolina. The role requires working onsite five days a week to drive manufacturing process improvements and engineering changes.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, PFMEAs, routings, and work instructions, while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. A degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electromechanical engineering with experience in ISO9000/TL9000 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering or related technical degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO9000/TL9000 quality systems preferred.
• Experience with SAP for manufacturing environments beneficial.
• Proven track record in process improvement and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for implementing, controlling and improving manufacturing processes.
• Develop and validate Engineering Changes; create procedures, work instructions, tooling controls and support product transfers.
• Create and modify PFMEAs, process flow charts, routings and works instructions.
• Coordinate maintenance and facilities modifications as requirements change.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are met; adhere to EHS policies.
• Lead projects, generate reports, and validate results after implementation.
