Job summary

Smith+Naphew Fort Worth is seeking a Process Engineer 2 to support product lifecycle management, technology transfers and validation activities. You will join a cross-functional team to drive manufacturing efficiency and patient outcomes.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s in biology, process engineering or chemical sciences, with Lean/Six Sigma exposure preferred. Hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, process engineering, chemical sciences, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing.
  • Experience with process validation, investigations, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support product lifecycle management, tech transfers, and new product introductions.
  • Serve as process owner during commercial manufacturing and provide technical support.
  • Develop, review, and maintain batch records, SOPs, validation protocols and reports.
  • Lead investigations, CAPAs, change controls, risk assessments, and process improvements.
  • Support equipment commissioning, qualification, validation, monitoring systems and cleanroom activities.
