Job summary

Dymax, based in Torrington, Connecticut, seeks a Process Engineer II to strengthen manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and process reliability by developing, documenting, and improving chemical manufacturing processes. You will execute new-product scale-ups and validations, analyze OEE and FPY drivers, and prepare data-driven recommendations that raise throughput and reduce variation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience on the manufacturing floor; process validation experience helps.
• Familiar with SPC/BI tools for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Improve production efficiency and process flow on adhesive manufacturing lines.
• Execute scale-up activities and coordinate pre-launch trials.
• Apply mixing/dispersion science to improve batch homogeneity.
• Standardize processes with SP C, FPY targets and control plans.
• Perform process validation and maintain traceable records.
• Resolve process-related customer issues with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and change traceability.
