Job description

Job Title: Process Engineer

The selected candidate for the role of Process Engineer in the GMSAT Technology team will support the design and development of new equipment and technologies for the Just-Evotec manufacturing network. The role involves developing support documentation for technology implementation and providing technical and operational support to Site MSAT and Manufacturing Operations groups. The candidate may also provide person-in-plant support, assist in regulatory submissions, and support regulatory and site inspections.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

1. Support key stakeholders with the evaluation and implementation of processing technologies.
2. Collaborate on design documents and validation protocols.
3. Evaluate and design single-use technologies and assemblies.
4. Work with vendors to develop data and validation packages.
5. Develop quotations and coordinate with procurement for POs.
6. Create business processes, SOPs, and training materials.
7. Support equipment maintenance and lifecycle planning.
8. Partner with the Site MSAT Manufacturing Technology & Science teams on global and site objectives.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or related life sciences; 0-3 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industries.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and regulatory requirements for biologics/pharmaceuticals.
• Understanding of monoclonal antibody processing at manufacturing or development scale.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process equipment and automation systems.
• Focus on quality, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and communicate process data effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with single-use disposable manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of DeltaV automation systems.
• Participation in global teams or Centers of Excellence.
• Problem-solving expertise for complex technical issues.
• Experience developing CQV plans and protocols.
• Ability to lead projects within the functional area.
