Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Process Engineer to provide process optimization and engineering support for the Mill. Responsibilities include lean projects, quality, and product safety, supported by analytical and systems work. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, 0–3 years in process engineering or production in the paper industry, and U.S.

work authorization. Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 0–3 years in process engineering or production in the paper industry.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain methods for tracking and reducing operational costs.
• Coordinate the efforts of outside resources to improve operation using relevant data.
• Conduct data analysis projects and use findings to make business decisions.
• Assignments may include higher-level work for training and development.
