Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to drive development, standardization, quality, and continuous improvement of processes and products at the Starkville, MS Plant. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to optimize production operations, implement improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include designing and improving processes, applying Lean and Six Sigma, and training hourly staff on best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree.
• Specialized Degree: Engineering.
• Years of Experience: 0-2 Years.
• Field of Expertise: Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and improves manufacturing or production processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all process operations.
• Diagnoses and resolves process-related problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Applies Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Creates and maintains process flow diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Works with design, quality, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure seamless process integration.
• Assists in scaling up and validating processes for new products or technologies.
• Ensure machinery and tools operate within specified parameters for optimal output.
• Provide technical guidance and training to hourly team members, and other staff on process changes or best practices.
• Collaborates with IT and engineering teams to integrate digital tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned
