Job summary

United Pharma Technologies Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to support commissioning, qualification, and startup at a new greenfield API manufacturing site for peptide production. You will serve as the site technical representative, coordinating with C&Q, Operations, TSMS, and Automation.

The role requires 2+ years in process engineering and hands-on field support, with flexibility for shifts during startup and onsite work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, commissioning and qualification (C&Q).
• Strong knowledge of process equipment and system operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot during commissioning and startup.
• Experience with C&Q protocol development or execution preferred.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing environments with PSM and safety reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, qualification, and startup of process equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with C&Q, Operations, TSMS, and Automation teams.
• Review and approve C&Q protocols, test cases, discrepancy reports, turnover docs.
• Support system startup, shakedown, installation verification, and ops verification.
• Participate in mechanical completion walkdowns, safety reviews, PSSR.
• Assist with equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and technical discrepancies.
• Apply process engineering fundamentals to testing, safety, and handover.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for safe commissioning and qualification.
• Provide hands-on field support; work flexible shifts during startup.
