voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support operations in our roll forming production facility. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support, optimize processes, and troubleshoot machinery issues.
Essential duties include developing and implementing manufacturing processes, enhancing production quality, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, with a BS in a related field preferred.
Ideal candidates will be safety‑minded and have experience with programming robots, robot‑lead‑controlled plasma cutters, tool path generation and design. Must also be strongly skilled with machine troubleshooting. Do you enjoy leading efforts in improving existing processes or working on developing processes for new products?
Provide hands‑on process engineering support on the production floor a minimum 50% of time. You will also estimate costs, develop, improve and implement manufacturing processes required in the manufacture of all products. We’ll ask you to improve the efficiencies of individual operations and the facility as a whole. You will also assist with tryout and development of associated new tooling projects and develop sustainable, repeatable processes that produce at maximum rates with minimum scrap.
This overtime‑exempt position will primarily work eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday to Friday or similar.
