S&B is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our Greenville, SC team. The role involves independent process design activities across stages of development and plant design for small projects or segments of larger ones.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Chemical Engineering and at least four years of process design experience, with the ability to evaluate and adapt standard design methods.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum four years of experience in Process design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Meets with clients' technical staff to develop acceptable processes and control features.
• Conducts field trips to existing plants to gather operating data and equipment information.
• Prepares equipment specifications.
• Communicates process design to client and other design disciplines.
• Participates in process safety reviews.
• Prepares operators instruction manuals.
• Participates in preparation of contract proposals.
