Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a Process Engineer to expand our midstream assets including cryogenic gas processing, NGL fractionation, and export terminals. You will lead design reviews, support project teams, and ensure safety and compliance in capital projects.

The role requires strong teamwork, clear communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced energy environment. On-site in Houston with local travel as needed, competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Chemical preferred).
• MS and/or PE license considered a plus.
• Operational experience in midstream or petrochemical industries preferred.
• Experience with NGL, fractionation, LPG export, amine or cryogenic plants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and operations.
• Have leadership capabilities with organization, communication, and team working skills.
• Perform upfront engineering on midstream assets including amine treaters, condensate stabilizers, glycol dehydration, cryogenic plants, NGL fractionation facilities, petrochemical, and NGL export terminals.
• Assist Project Managers in process design of projects, evaluating operating scenarios, and in developing project scopes and cost estimates.
• Ensure quality of PFDs, H&M balances, P&IDs, Equipment Data Sheets, etc.
