Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, headquartered in Minnesota, seeks a Process Engineer Co-op to support the Paper and Coater Production Departments, Effluent Treatment Plant, and Engineering. The role offers hands-on experience from January through August 2027, with a 40-hour work week.

You will participate in production trials, analyze data, and help advance safety, quality, cost, and process improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Paper Science and Engineering or Biosystems and Bioproducts Engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Collect, enter, and analyze production and process data.
• Assist with production trials involving chemicals, equipment, and process-related changes.
• Update and maintain engineering documents, drawings, and related records.
• Support projects focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and process improvement.
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work practices.
• Complete required OSHA and other safety training.
• Perform other engineering and process-related duties as assigned.
