Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred) and 5 years of full-time chemical plant experience.
• Ethylene plant progressive technical experience including process engineering and plant operations.
• Computer programming and application skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operation of entire unit to minimize costs and maximize production.
• Perform troubleshooting of process problems, mechanical failures, and customer complaints.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Customer Technical Service, and Sales on product development projects.
• Follow directions of Unit Manager to ensure policies and procedures.
• Initiate studies and projects to improve efficiency, profitability, quality, safety.
• Keep Production updated on new technology and process techniques.
• Assist in developing and updating P&ID’s, JSEA’s and GOI’s and Emergency Procedures.
• Travel occasionally for site support and project work.
