Job summary

A leading staffing and consulting firm in the Quincy, MA area is seeking a Process Engineer. The role involves supporting new product commercialization, improving process efficiencies, and troubleshooting plant issues. Candidates must hold a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Understanding of heat transfer, fluid flow, and instrumentation is essential. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or chemical processing related industry.

Responsibilities

• Support new product and process commercialization.
• Measure product quality, process capability, and yield using statistical process control techniques.
• Improve process efficiencies including first pass quality, productivity, and safety.
• Provide plant support coordinating with R&D from inception to commercialization.
• Achieve proficiency with key manufacturing unit operations.
• Troubleshoot plant process issues with technicians/operators.
• Help develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate downtime causes and provide recommendations.

Pumping and piping skills

Programming experience

Ability to obtain TWIC certification

Ability to read P&ID’s and schematics
