Job summary

Stantec is seeking a mid‑level Process/Chemical Engineer to join our Albany, NY team. The role focuses on advanced manufacturing projects in biopharma, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and related sectors, with travel between Albany and nearby offices as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering with emphasis in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of engineering, consulting, design experience or relevant manufacturing/facilities experience.
Experience designing in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/semiconductor sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

Apply process engineering concepts to support complex industrial manufacturing projects.
Perform detailed calculations to model and design process components.
Lead preparation of designs, drawings, specs, reports and presentations.
Verify compliance with codes and standards in collaboration with senior engineers.
Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to deliver project milestones.
