Job summary

Lutron Electronics Company, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks an on-site Process Engineer to own and optimize the Ketra advanced packaging line.

You will master assembly and testing from packaging through downstream operations, work with LED/Die attach machines and wire bonders, and ensure high-quality performance in a cleanroom setting. You will coach line leaders and technicians and collaborate with engineering and operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA across degrees earned.
• 5+ years in electronic or mechanical design or process engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with bonding methods or semiconductor assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emitter line KPIs and daily production rates.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Escalate and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Provide run evaluations and product feedback to engineering.
• Lead projects to reduce cycle times and costs.
• On-board new equipment with engineering teams.
