Job summary

Lutron Electronics seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for our Alburtis, PA facility to develop high-quality smart lighting and shading products. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related automation/manufacturing with GPA 3.0+.
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of tolerances, materials, and assembly methods.
• CAD experience with Creo or SolidWorks; exposure to automation/mechatronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new equipment and technologies options; recommend best path.
• Support manufacturing operations through process control, troubleshooting and CI.
• Assist in equipment evaluations, capability studies and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with quality, automation, maintenance and product engineering.
• Learn, integrate and support automation technologies, including mechatronics.
• Apply mechanical engineering to design changes, fixtures and tooling.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work with facilities to understand needs when implementing new equipment/tech.
• Maintain high quality standards through design, safety, testing and reviews.
