Job Title: Process Engineer III

IDR is seeking a Process Engineer III to join one of our top clients in Carrollton, GA. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional with a strong background in Process Engineering or Industrial Operations, and experience supervising installations and start-ups of systems. Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation and start-up of systems
• Serve as site engineer, engineering coordinator, and start-up engineer
• Develop new equipment and techniques, including hardware/software evaluation
• Train customers through training sessions, publications, and presentations
• Provide internal training on processes
• Recommend improvements to equipment and processes
• Address technical inquiries from customers and employees
• Produce daily progress reports during startups and field visits

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6+ years of experience in Process Engineering or Industrial Operations
• Hands-on experience with molten metal processing systems
• Ability to interpret design documents (vendor/SCJ drawings, manuals)
• Strong project management, planning, and scheduling skills
• Ability to learn AutoCAD (experience preferred but not required)
• Highly adaptable to changing project requirements
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions and training
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering principles (preferred)
