Job summary

ASCO Industries is seeking a Process Engineer to read, analyze and translate customer technical requirements into ASCO's manufacturing processes. You will create and maintain the BOM for new contracts within the ERP system and define optimized manufacturing methods with the project team.

Responsibilities include change management, impact analysis on process changes, and providing technical support across departments.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanics or electro-mechanics.
• Dutch and/or French and good technical English.
• Experience with ERP systems and reading customer documents (drawings, parts lists, configuration documents).
• Proficiency in PC applications & office software.

Responsibilities

• Create & maintain the BOM (Bill of Materials) for new contracts in the ERP system.
• Definition & setup of methods & means for new projects with project team.
• Change Management Support for internal changes or customer-driven changes.
• Change impact analyses when customer specs are updated.
• Technical support to the team and other departments (Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations).
• Corporate support: transversal analysis of customer requirements.

Asco is now looking for aProcess Engineer. The process engineer reads, understands, analyses and challenges all customers technical requirements and transcript them in the processes elaborated by Asco through a certain amount of documents: BOM, Routings, ATS, TI.

Job Description

The Process Engineer is responsible for:

• Creation & maintaining the BOM (Bill of Material) for new contracts :Based on the engineering BOM (Bill Of Material) and during the industrialization phase of a new contract, create and maintain the Manufacturing BOM in the ERP System.
• Definition & set-up of methods & means for new projects :During the industrialization phase of a new contract or reengineering, together with the rest of the project team, elaborate the most optimized manufacturing processes and guarantee that the customers’ specifications are respected.
• Change Management Support :In case ofan internal Change Processes (Notification) or a mandatory change from the customer during the lifetime of a program, adapt correctly the technical documents.
• Change impact analyses :When a customer specification is updated, analyse the impact it could have on our internal processes and flow down the information.
• Technical support :Support the rest of his team and other departments such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations,…
• Corporate support :Conduct transversal analysis on customers requirements.

Profile :

Education :Engineering degree (civil or industrial) preferred in Mechanics or Electro Mechanics

Languages: Dutch and/or French and good Technical English

Skills / Experience :
