J T in Seymour, CT seeks a Process Development & Manufacturing Support engineer to optimize PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies, document SOPs, and lead process improvements. You will troubleshoot real-time manufacturing issues, review drawings, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and maintenance to implement robust tooling, fixtures, and NFIs that boost productivity and quality.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field).
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical foundation with an emphasis on automation, machine programming, and basic electrical engineering principles.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
Strong mathematical and physics calculation capabilities (rates, ratios, tolerances, and data analysis).
Knowledge of electronic component identification is required.
Must be able to pass Component ID and IPC-A-610 Solder Inspection training requirements.
Systems & Software: Proficiency with Shop Floor Tracking Systems / Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., Aegis) is preferred.
Working knowledge of drafting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Core Competencies: Analytical problem-solving ability, disciplined project planning skills, effective cross-functional communication, and the capacity to present technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, handle materials, and reach with hands and arms.

Ability to frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts on the manufacturing floor.
