Job summary

Plansee Group's CERATIZIT site in Sacramento is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Rancho Cordova. This FULL-TIME, hourly role supports manufacturing goals and product quality through data‑driven problem solving, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your tasks include coordinating with CERATIZIT to define OE projects, establishing new technologies and processes, reviewing quotations for special requests, and driving CP/PDCA-based improvements while optimizing

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience in production processes
• Strong MS Office proficiency; IT background a plus
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and manage projects
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Experience with production processes and continuous improvement is desirable

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CERATIZIT to define OE projects and project teams
• Establish new technologies and processes and implement them into production
• Assist in preparing quotations for special product requests
• Introduce Continual Improvement Process (KVP) and PDCA management
• Conduct grinding tests and document results to improve tool quality

Process Engineer
FULL-TIME | Rancho Cordova
Assist in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes through data-driven problem solving, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals, product quality, and cost-effective operations as proposed by management/Operational Excellence teams.

Your tasks:

• Close coordination with the CERATIZIT Group to define OE projects and project teams for transferring production technology
• Establishing new technology and processes and implementing new products into the production portfolio
• Assist in preparing and reviewing quotations for special product requests
• Introduction of Continual Improvement Process (KVP) and PDCA Management
• Conduction and documentation of grinding tests for improving tool quality

Your profile:

• BS Engineering or related field. Alternative of other education with emphasis on production processes or several years of experience
• Strong computer proficiency (all MS office applications), IT background a plus
• Superior time management, prioritization and project management skills
• High intrinsic motivation to positively complete projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
