Job summary

USA.CERATIZIT Sacramento LLC is hiring an Hourly Process Engineer in Rancho Cordova, CA. You will assist in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes through data-driven problem solving, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals and product quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating OE projects with CERATIZIT Group, implementing new production technologies, and preparing quotations for special requests.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer proficiency with MS Office; IT background is a plus.
• Excellent time management, prioritization and project management skills.
• High intrinsic motivation to complete projects successfully.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish new technology and processes; implement new products in production.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing quotations for special product requests.
• Introduce Continual Improvement Process (KVP) and PDCA management.
• Conduct and document grinding tests to improve tool quality.

Position type: Hourly Process Engineer FULL-TIME | Rancho Cordova Assist in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes through data-driven problem solving, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals, product quality, and cost-effective operations as proposed by management/Operational Excellence teams.

Your tasks:

• Close coordination with the CERATIZIT Group to define OE projects and project teams for transferring production technology
• Establishing new technology and processes and implementing new products into the production portfolio
• Assist in preparing and reviewing quotations for special product requests
• Introduction of Continual Improvement Process (KVP) and PDCA Management
• Conduction and documentation of grinding tests for improving tool quality

Your profile:

• BS Engineering or related field. Alternative of other education with emphasis on production processes or several years of experience
• Strong computer proficiency (all MS office applications), IT background a plus
• Superior time management, prioritization and project management skills
• High intrinsic motivation to positively complete projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
