CANPACK Group is seeking a Decorator Process Engineer to lead plant staff in optimizing Decorator areas across high-speed can manufacturing facilities. You will guide teams, manage resources, and drive maintenance procedures and process improvements to reduce spoilage.

You will champion new processes, develop SOPs, and coordinate OEM trials and equipment commissioning with site personnel, while mentoring operators and supervisors in continuous improvement techniques.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
• Experience leading and managing work teams.
• Expert knowledge of Decorator equipment and processes: Decorator, Pin Oven, OV Unit, Bottom Coater.
• Ability to rebuild OV Units, Inkers, Bottom Coater.
• Experience with coaching and technical development of team members and supervisors.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with continuous improvement / Lean & Six Sigma tools and methodology.

Position SummaryThe Decorator Process Engineer will be responsible for leading and advising plant staff and team members to drive plant process optimization of the Decorator areas in multiple high speed can manufacturing facilities.Essential Functions/Key DeliverablesLead and develop team members.Manage resources, activities, and vendors to ensure efficient operations for the Decorator area.Establish, document, monitor, and improve maintenance procedures on equipment.Use systems and data to identify process issues and lead teams through the development and implementation of corrective action plans.Seek out and champion R&D of new processes or technologies related to the Decorator.Lead and drive in-plant process improvements to drive down spoilage rates.Create SOPs and Work Instructions associated with Decorator equipment and processes.Participate in OEM buy-offs and trials.Lead and coordinate trials and equipment commissioning alongside plant personnel.Provide direction as well as hands-on demonstration of troubleshooting skills on Decorator equipment and processes.· Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.Knowledge/Skills/Experience5 years minimum job-related experienceExpert level knowledge of equipment and processes to include, but not limited to, Decorator, Pin Oven, O/V Unit, Bottom Coater.
