Job summary

Safari Circuits, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and support high-quality PCBA manufacturing processes across operations. You will drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement through data-driven methods and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead PFMEA, DFM reviews, and DOE plans, design fixtures, create detailed work instructions, and support production with issue resolution. IPC-610 knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of PCBAs and electronic component packages.
  • Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
  • IPC-A-610 certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Improve manufacturing quality and efficiency using data-driven, cross-functional approaches.
  • Develop and maintain PFMEAs and implement risk-reduction actions.
  • Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews for new products.
  • Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for processes and equipment.
  • Design fixturing to reduce risk and improve quality.
  • Create and maintain detailed work instructions.
  • Support production in resolving issues and preventing recurrence.
  • Implement LEAN principles to reduce waste.
  • Support capital equipment selection, qualification, and implementation.
  • Write and execute Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols.
  • Apply IPC-A-610 requirements for acceptability of electronic assemblies.
  • Train production operators as needed.
  • Support customer corrective actions.
  • Serve as SME for assigned processes/equipment.

Job Summary
