Job summary

C&J Industries Inc is a full-service plastics manufacturer focused on injection molding, tooling, assembly, and packaging. The Process Engineer role targets optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards within a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze processes, lead validation and control efforts, and provide training to staff while advancing automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in plastics or polymer manufacturing.
• Knowledge of plastics processing techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding or thermoforming.
• Experience with process simulation, data analysis, and process control tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates technical and economic factors to optimize manufacturing processes and meet specs.
• Coordinates technical developments, scheduling and resolution of design/test problems.
• Leads DOE and SPC studies and resolves process-related issues.
• Conducts process validation, testing, and documentation for standards compliance.
• Identifies opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Provides training to production staff on procedures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
