Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30
What You'll Do:
Trainee level position. Specialized in Manufacturing/Process/Design Engineering and under Direct supervision, performs a variety of routine tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs of the company.
Developing, improving, and sustaining coatings processes in transparencies. Conducting data analysis, failure analysis, and yield improvement. Maintaining or defining process SOPs, providing instructions to coating operations. Creation of Standard and/or Visual Work Instructions. Maintaining or defining quality management standard including creating and reviewing SPC charts for robust quality control. Supporting equipment automation technicians in tool trouble shooting. Providing technical support to operations and customer as needed. Creation of technical reports, standard work instructions, process specifications.
Qualifications:
• The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering, Physics, chemistry or related technical discipline required.
• 0-3 years of engineering experience in areas of vacuum deposition, working thin films, conducting statistical analysis, and process control strongly desired.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to analyze data, launch and sustain SPCs, perform six sigma process capability (Minitab a plus).
• Ability to lead team projects passionate about meeting business strategic goals.
• Statistical Analysis, Research and Development techniques experience are desired.
• Experience with organic coatings a plus.
• Some knowledge of photolithography extremely desirable.
• Green Belt or Black Belt Six sigma certifications desirable.
