Required Skills/Abilities

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with injection molding processes in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, machine operation, mold operation, and process parameters.


• Experience troubleshooting injection molding processes and identifying root causes of quality and production issues.


• Understanding of mold design, mold components, and basic tooling concepts.


• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.


• Ability to use measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and other basic inspection equipment.


• Knowledge of plastics processing, including an understanding of material behavior and processing requirements.


• Experience with semi‑crystalline and amorphous plastics is preferred.


• Experience with PVC, CPVC, polyolefins, or other thermoplastic materials is a plus.


• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.


• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and structured problem‑solving methodologies.


• Ability to work effectively with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and other cross‑functional teams.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.


• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.


• CAD experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similar software is preferred.


• Experience with Moldflow or similar injection molding simulation software is a plus.


• Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.


• Willingness to work hands‑on in a manufacturing environment.


• Ability to travel domestically as needed to support business requirements.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Plastics/Polymer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.


• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


• 3–5 years of hands‑on injection molding process engineering or related plastics manufacturing experience required.


• Experience working with injection molding machines, molds, auxiliary equipment, and thermoplastic materials.


• Experience with injection molding process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and qualification.
