Process Engineer – Senior Process Engineer

Ernest Gordon Recruitment provided pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

This is the base pay range. Your actual pay will depend on skills and experience.

We are looking for a Process Engineer in Houston, TX to support process engineering operations covering new requirements, optimization, discovery, safety and environmental incidents. You will provide technical support and guide multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for process engineering operations (new requirements, optimization, discovery, queries, issues, incidents, optimizations) particularly related to Safety and Environmental.
• Strong communication and guidance with management, engineering and other departments within the site.
• Conduct basic HIT/dataflow calculations as well as documentation and reports in alignment with process related tasks and requests.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemical engineering or related engineering field.
• Experienced in process or utility engineering within chemical sites such as terminals, refineries, processing plants, etc. and able to undertake basic HIT calculations (ideally experienced with systems such as SAP, SharePoint).
• Excellent communicator able to convey and understand requirements for various departments in accordance with HSSE/QHSE.
