Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC in the United States seeks a process engineer to support production, safety, quality and output. You will assist in data collection, training and documentation for projects while collaborating with multiple departments to improve manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities include analyzing processes and equipment, coordinating with manufacturing, and helping bring new concepts to production with traceability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience analyzing processes and equipment for improvements.
  • Ability to train operators and document processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze processes, equipment, and materials to improve manufacturing methods.
  • Monitor processes for continuous improvements and modifications.
  • Coordinate activities of support personnel and manufacturing to resolve problems.
  • Assist in training operators on process awareness, monitoring and control.
  • Provide process data for standard or experimental products.
  • Research equipment to find cost-effective, flexible solutions.
  • Analyze material flow to maintain traceability and efficiency.
  • Assist R&D during experimental trials and product development.
  • Collaborate with IO, OQ, PQ and validation teams.

Summary Of Position

The process engineer assists other departments to assure that the production processes are performing properly with respect to safety, quality, and output; assists in data collection, training, and documentation of assigned projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Analyze processes, equipment, materials to determine efficient manufacturing methods and process improvements
  • Monitor processes on a continual basis for continuing improvements and/or modifications
  • Coordinate activities of support personnel and manufacturing to resolve process problems
  • Assist in training operators on process awareness, monitoring and control
  • Provide process data as recommended for standard or experimental products
  • Research equipment to source the most appropriate solutions by focusing on cost, flexibility and efficiency
  • Analyze material flow to develop an efficient method for moving materials through the process efficiently while maintaining constant traceability
  • Assist R&D project leaders during experimental trials
  • Participate on development team to bring new part concepts to production
  • Build and maintain user requirement checklists for new equipment
  • Actively collaborate with the IO, OQ, PQ and validation teams
