Shift: Rotating Day/Night Shift

EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their Production Department.

Job Summary:

• Maintain up-to-date process and quality specifications for all products.
• Monitor production to ensure procedures are properly followed.
• Develop product and process specifications for new or modified products to meet quality and cost requirements.
• Translate field requirements for straps into detailed product specifications, including width, thickness, camber, tensile, and related characteristics.
• Develop manufacturing processes for strap extrusion equipment, including resin specs, die requirements, water bath, oven, stretch, annealing, and winding instructions.
• Train line operators in proper production and quality processes.
• Develop, publish, and maintain manufacturing process specifications.
• Provide in-process quality inspection plans.
• Assist with process troubleshooting and follow-up on field complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Act as the final authority on product and process quality for the Strapping Operation.
• Collaborate with equipment designers and sales to develop or modify products and processes for specific application requirements.
• Participate in projects to specify and justify new materials, equipment, and capacity enhancements.
• Work with management to ensure product quality, capacity, and market needs are met efficiently and consistently.
