This hands‑on role validates software releases, configures and stages equipment, and supports installation, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting. The position works across software, hardware, and networking to ensure reliable deployments and collaborates with the Lead Process Engineer in New Zealand, engineering teams, contractors, and customers to maintain consistent quality and implementation standards.

  • Own and maintain the test lab environment, ensuring it reflects current production hardware, firmware, and software versions. Develop, document, and maintain repeatable test plans and scripts for new PARCS software releases prior to field deployment.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, and integration testing across hardware, firmware, and application layers. Support the QA function in developing test scripts and acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and release documentation.
  • Log, track, and report defects and testing findings to senior management and engineering stakeholders, including release risk and readiness assessments. Collaborate with the Lead Process Engineer in New Zealand and offshore/nearshore development teams to align testing standards, provide feedback, and coordinate test result sign‑off.
  • Stage, configure, and quality‑check PARCS equipment in preparation for shipment and field installation. Interpret customer and site requirements to configure back‑end organizations, sites, rate structures, and system settings.
  • Design and implement UI/UX workflows for interactive customer‑facing hardware, including pay stations, kiosks, and gate/entry terminals, ensuring configurations meet customer requirements and site‑specific use cases.
  • Provide technical support for field installations, including troubleshooting connectivity between site hardware, local networks, and back‑end/cloud systems. Support installation, commissioning, and go‑live activities, both on‑site and remotely.
  • Perform post‑installation field testing to verify that equipment and systems are fully configured and functioning correctly against site‑specific requirements. Coordinate with and provide technical direction to third‑party installation contractors to ensure work meets company specifications.
  • Monitor deployed systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact customers. Support the Customer Success team with Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical escalations, including root‑cause investigation and coordination with engineering teams.
