Job summary

Augment Professional Services is seeking Chemical / Process Engineers to support process systems and facility infrastructure for advanced manufacturing projects. You will work with mechanical, electrical, controls, construction and operations teams to design, review and implement piping, utilities and chemical systems across large facilities.

The role covers process design, equipment integration, commissioning and issue resolution, with a strong emphasis on safety reviews and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience in semiconductor, battery, chemical processing, pharma, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments preferred.
• Experience with bulk gases, specialty gases, chemicals, process water, compressed air, or other process utilities advantageous.
• Process safety/HAZOP experience and commissioning/startup exposure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review process engineering designs and documentation.
• Review and develop PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, equipment specs and process requirements.
• Support process piping and utility systems.
• Coordinate equipment and process interfaces.
• Evaluate flow, pressure, temperature, chemical compatibility and operating requirements.
• Support construction engineering and technical issue resolution.
• Participate in process safety and design reviews.
• Support commissioning, startup, qualification and system turnover.
• Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
