Job summary

Amgen seeks a Process Development Senior Scientist to advance analytical methods for quality attributes and support process characterization. You will lead protein characterization using high‑resolution LC/MS, including peptide and disulfide mapping, and develop automation-friendly workflows to improve lab efficiency.

Strong candidates will have advanced degrees with pharmaceutical experience, excellent data interpretation, and a track record of regulatory documentation for INDs/BLAs.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred with strong analytical development experience in biologics.
• Experience with MS-based characterization and regulatory documentation.
• Independently lead complex analytical projects and write technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and transfer analytical methods for critical quality attributes.
• Lead late-stage protein characterization and mass analysis studies.
• Build automated workflows from sample prep to report generation.
• Support regulatory submissions with analytical documentation.
• Provide SME guidance to cross-functional partners.
