Job summary

Clever Carnivore is seeking a Process Development Scientist to join our on-site R&D team in the Greater Chicago Area. You will set up and run bioprocess campaigns at a research scale, analyze data, and help advance lab operations while aligning with best practices.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional groups, report to the Director of Cell Biology, and contribute to scalable production methods for cultivated meat, with a focus on safety, quality, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with cell culture bioreactors, adherent mammalian cell culture, or other bioprocess operations.
• Strong laboratory skills and experience in experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Solid foundation in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline relevant to bioprocess and food production.
• Strong data analysis skills, including statistical evaluation, modeling, and use of relevant software tools.
