Veeco is seeking a Process Development Engineer in San Jose to lead hands-on demos, validate processes, and translate customer requirements into documented solutions. You will run experiments, monitor results, and ensure tools meet performance standards while collaborating with R&D, applications, and customers.

The role emphasizes lab work and cross-functional teamwork to advance Veeco’s industry-leading solutions in LSA and NSA technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field; 2+ years of related experience required.
• Wafer processing experience in a fab, equipment manufacturer, or applications lab environment and hands-on ability with semiconductor capital equipment are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Veeco semiconductor processing equipment during customer demos and internal process evaluations.
