Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a Process Development Associate to support and execute laboratory studies within the Process Development organization. The role emphasizes execution, documentation, and adherence to Quality standards under supervision.

The Associate will lead lab operations on projects, become SME on processes and systems, and help implement new technologies to improve efficiency while maintaining training compliance. Shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, or related area.
• AS/BS and 0+ years of related experience.
• Ability to execute lab work and document results in electronic notebooks.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and maintenance.
• Ability to react to change and work rotating/set shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conducts laboratory experiments in support of process development and documents results.
• Acts as SME on lab processes and systems within the department.
• Maintains safety, labeling and waste disposal procedures and equipment maintenance.
