Amazon NASC Engineering is seeking an innovative Operations Engineer to support Process Design Engineering initiatives for next-generation sortation and transportation systems at the NASC. We’re looking to add a high-impact Operations Engineer to our team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external teams develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complimenting each Design.

You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact, high visibility projects; you will grow.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
• Experience working with and managing third party vendors
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing
• Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
