Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in process automation systems and/or instrumentation engineering.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

• Hands-on knowledge of control systems (DCS/PLC).
• Familiarity with field instrumentation and transmitters.
• Understanding of networks and cybersecurity for industrial control systems.

• Address instrumentation and automation obsolescence and help fix issues.
• Improve plant reliability, cybersecurity, and cost-reduction initiatives.

They provide mentorship on instrumentation and control devices to keep our plants operating safely and provide product to our customers. Over time, the individual can be encouraged to learn and supply to multiple facilities located in the Houston area.Minimum Hiring Requirements:Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in process automation systems and/or instrumentation engineering.Must maintain a Valid Drivers' License, a clean driving record, and the ability to access and safely operate a reliable personal vehicle on an ongoing basis.Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship (e.g. temporary work visa or work permit).Desired Skills:Hands-on knowledge of control systems (DCS/PLC). Experience with Siemens PCS7 a plus.Some knowledge of field instrumentation, including valves and transmitters.Proficiency and experience with concepts related to level, temperature, pressure, and flow measurement.Fundamental understanding of computer networks.General knowledge of cybersecurity implementation relates to industrial control systems.General knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems as applicable to Mechanical Integrity.Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
