The Process Controls Professional supports control systems for the compression, processing, and pipeline assets in the East. This role provides technical stewardship and programming support for SCADA systems, PLC programs, and HMI systems. The position is responsible for implementing process controls improvements, troubleshooting control system issues, and supporting projects in adherence to MPLX standards and industry best practices. This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Measurement and Environmental teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations through effective application of control strategies and automation technologies. This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency, and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.
