Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to support instrumentation and control systems for industrial gas facilities in the Americas. The role involves DCS/PLC design, troubleshooting, and project support from our Allentown, PA HQ or LaPorte, TX regional office, with ~20–40% travel and a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required BS in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in process automation/instrumentation, plus valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in process automation and instrumentation.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation systems and field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support instrumentation and process control system needs for North/South American gas facilities.
• Troubleshoot urgent operational needs for remote facilities and control systems.
• Lead or support improvement projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
