Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Controls Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Freeport, TX (and Plaquemine, LA). You will support maintenance and production by developing, implementing, and maintaining process control systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

You will lead at least three hands-on projects, develop knowledge of programming and instrumentation, review vendor documentation, and help test DCS graphics and control code.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale at all times.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) during rotation; on-site only.
• Must obtain TWIC and possess a valid US driver''s license.
• Olin does not sponsor visas.

The Process Controls Engineer Co-Op supports maintenance and production with the development, implementation, and maintenance of process control systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree program
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
