Job summary

Staff Management | SMX is seeking a Process Control Technician to monitor, control, and adjust automated plant equipment from the central control room to ensure smooth material flow and efficient production.

The role requires an engineering or technical background with 5+ years’ experience in extrusion and process control systems, plus fluency in English. On-site work in Premix, Dallas, NC, with shift options and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (or technical certification) in process technology, industrial automation, engineering, or a related field, or HS Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years' experience working with extruders and automated control systems.
• Proficiency in operating extruders and process control systems.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts.
• Fluency in English.

Duties

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports.

Work Environment: The work is on-site at the manufacturing plant. Some travel may be required, including internationally.

Physical Demands: The work requires some periods of standing and walking on the shop floor and requires lifting up to 50lb. at times

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: Bachelors.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $32.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
