Job summary

Micron Boise is expanding its team to advance semiconductor process control. You will develop systems to predict and reduce process variation, collaborating with process engineering, IT, and data science groups to deliver high-quality control strategies.

The role emphasizes modeling, data extraction, and automation with SQL/Python, MPC awareness, and strong technical communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, computer science, physics or related field, or equivalent Micron standing.
• 1–2 years exposure to SPC and data analysis experience.
• 1–2 years experience presenting technical subjects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions to reduce process variation and automate control tasks.
• Write scripts to extract, shape and filter data for analysis and modeling.
• Extract data from databases via SQL and apply cleansing/outlier handling.
• Collaborate with process engineering, IT, equipment automation and data teams.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate complex analyses succinctly.
