Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4+ years related experience.
• Practical knowledge of distributed control and PLC controls.
• Familiarity with process automation in pulp/paper or similar industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for mill DCS software/hardware reliability.
• Design and program software for capital projects and process optimization.
• Supervise contractors for installation and modifications of control equipment.
• Update electrical and control system loop diagrams and drawings.
• Program and maintain control databases and assist troubleshooting.
• Support Operations & Maintenance in improving process control.
