Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a third forklift driver at its Holland, MI sauces and pickles processing facility. The role requires an eye exam on-site and a written test for consideration.

Responsibilities include unloading materials, stocking areas, and loading trucks. Shifts include 1st-3rd with 1st, 2nd, 3rd availability based on needs and seniority. Union plant represented by UFCW Local 705.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work outdoors as needed.
• Candidates must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials from trucks using a lift truck.
• Supply kitchen department with materials and ingredients as required.
• Place raw materials and finished goods in proper storage areas.
• Load finished goods on trucks when needed.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform observations and training as scheduled.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, some weekends 10:00PM - 6:30AM

Plant Overview

• Approximately 300 employees
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities- assigned based on business needs and seniority
• Union Plant represented by UFCW Local 705
• Products: Vinegar, BBQ Sauces, Relish, Pickles, Mustard
• The Holland plant is one of the oldest plants in the company and has been operating since 1897. Although, locally known as the “pickle factory”, currently pickles only make up 5% of the total production. In 2016 the factory installed grey poupon mills to allow the production of its iconic mustard.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Responsible for unloading raw materials from trucks, supplying the kitchen department with materials and ingredients as required via lift truck, placing raw materials and finished goods in proper storage areas, and loading finished goods on trucks
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled
• Support Plant Quality Systems
• Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP
• Work outdoors during any weather climate
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader
